UGC NET JUNE 2019 NEW SYLLABUS EDUCATION

This video describes the changes in NTA UGC NET EDUCATION (09) subject syllabus from June 2019 onwards. The main objective of UGC is to assess the teaching and research capabilities of the candidates to meet the global and local (GLOCAL)needs of industry. This test aims at assessing the knowledge, understanding, and application of different topics of EDUCATION subject. Candidates are expected to possess and exhibit cognitive abilities, which include comprehension, analysis, evaluation, understanding of Educational Studies, History, Politics and Economics of Education, Learner and Learning Process, Teacher Education, Curriculum Studies, Research in Education, Qualitative Research Designs, Pedagogy, Pedagogical Analysis, Pedagogy, Andragogy and Assessment , Assessment in Pedagogy of Education, Technology in/ for Education, Systems Approach to Instructional Design, Emerging Trends in e-learning, use of web 2.0 tools for learning, Educational Management, Administration and Leadership, Concept of Quality and Quality in Education, ThreeStep-Model of Change (Unfreezing, Moving, Refreezing), The Japanese Models of Change: Just-in-Time, Poka-yoke, Cost of Quality: Appraisal Costs, Failure costs, and Preventable costs, Inclusive Education, Concept, Principles, Scope and Target Groups (Diverse learners; Including Marginalized group and Learners with Disabilities), Planning and Management of Inclusive Classrooms and Barriers and Facilitators in Inclusive Education.
